Leones Valley, land and mudslideYou see part of the Leones River, and behind a landslide with erratic Rocks as big as houses, triggered by a hanging glacier dropout between Xmas and New Year 2002	Piedra El CondeOn the way from Coyhaique to Cerro Castillo on the Ruta 7 Sur (Carretera Austral), one finds this prominent looking rock close to the road. Lago General Carrera This day was a very beautiful day for a crossing of the lake, but the weather is quite changeable here. The lake was called Lago Chelenko in the old times.	Carretera Austral Sur - Road WorkersWe have all the respect in the World for the people who construct and maintain the road system in our Region. To do road works and construction here was never an easy job, and won't be either.	Rio Baker - Gem of PatagoniaThis river will look like on the photo only for a short time more. Some big companies plan to tame Chileans most caudalous river , putting at least two dams in. Flyfishing will then be impossible, as will be agriculture on flooded terrains.	Cavernas de Marmol, Puerto Rio TranquiloAt the General Carrera Lake, there exist a few places where one can visit nice marble outcrops, which have been washed by the waters and winds to form beatiful caverns and patterns. The most accesible is situated a bit South of the village Pto. Rio Tranquilo
