The old bridge over the Cahcabuco RiverThe state of this bridge being bad, a temporary bridge was put up over the Chacabuco river 150m upriver from the old bridge, in order to take the old bridge away and construct a new viaduct at the same place, This procedure was done because the old bridge was situated on the best spot to cross that river.

Lagoon close to Fachinal-Lago General CarreraBetween Chile Chico and Mallin Grande, close to the Paso de las Llaves, one can find some beautiful lagoons. To bad the water is too cold for a swim.
