A tour for two to three participants, duration 14 days, made as well
for couples, the compatible soloist, or family with kids (special
arrangements) will lead you to a remote place in Patagonia, to the
valley of the Rio Baker, there where it confluences with the Rio
Ñadis.
We await you in our regional airport of Balmaceda (BBA) and bring you
to the Refugio Los Ñadis, South of the town of Cochrane.
From there we will undertake a simple hiking trip to get an overview
about possibilities. Later, we can advance the Camp and explore the
surrounding high valleys and mountain world for a few days, and might
as well be able to check on one or the other summit.
Returning to our Refugio, we have a day free to do what we want,
usually relaxing, fishing, reading, repairing equipment etc.
Afterwards, the second phase starts with a walk to the Salton del Rio
Baker. There, below of the Salton, our foldable kayak(s) and or rubber
boat waits to take us down the mostly smooth river. Close to the Ocean
we pack our marine accessoires and visit the pituresque
village of Tortel. Being brought back to the Refugio, we get our
remaining equipment, and continue back North, visiting
touristic attractions, as time and the weather
permits.
Accompany us on this trip to one of the more beautiful places of this
region of Patagonia. Forthcoming you will find more infos about the
tour
